Honestly Barely 3.5" with trailers. Looking forward to the 5" mark or so. I feed light so they won't be growing too quick.
Do you have more than one? I've been looking at getting one of these but wasn't sure if they needed to be kept in a group or not. Where'd you get yours from, he's beautiful.

Heckelii are my favorite fish by far. Trying to select which 4 to rehome of the 7 I have is proving difficult. I've read and been told they do fine in groups until around the 3 yr mark or so which is when conspecific aggression seems to kick in and they get brutal. A fw folks have reported having a juvie group grow out well together but I think that is more the exception than the norm.
