Yes, it will heal. No need for Melafix...

melafix can't hurt, seeing as its an anti-bacterial med. I say better safe than sorry to risk infection if the skin is broken.

MelaFix is like adding Iced Tea. In fact it can be dangerous to some fish. I would never recommend it.

I can't actually see the brake in the picture

It should heal but you will probably have a bump in the fin like calcium build up

Thanks again:)
Sadly, there are more damages that I didn't see on the first day his tail got rip almost at the base but after some research I saw the same injury and the arowana got healed after 3 months, so I somehow got my mind at ease. Good news though, He's now almost swimming perfectly as usual and he's just started to eat again today too:)
I'll post another update after he's healed up:)

His pectoral fin doesn't seem to heal well and his tail that was tear heal strangely, so after I research around for 2 days, all of the advice and solution seem to have to do an operation and cut his tail and fin, which I did after I consult and bought the stabilizer from someone who have done it before.
The operation went quietly well and he's back to swimming again but this is the most cruelest that I've done to my aro :( I almost cry while I was doing the operation ( I did a bit after ) ;-;
I'll post the video of him swimming soon, after he less spook.
