I have 3 peacock bass (about 7-9 inches and about 1&1/2years old roughly)and I'm sure it's going to be a long time from now but around what age or size do they begin to breed? What are some things that I can do to the tank(temperature,plants,ph...)to induce breeding.

When breeding cichlids, I keep the tank bare as possible.........No substrate(gravel,rocks)......Two slate rocks placed on opposite ends of the tank............Temp78-82........Try throwing in some kepa leaves....Kepa leaves mature the water by bringing it to a ph level that is comfortable...........The water tans to a brownish tinge that is easily removed within 2-4 water changes.............Purchase a separate growout tank that is 55-75gg.............
