Update on my 100 gallon and cichla

what's up guys,

Here's an update on my tank and my boys.
Ass some of you know I had hand palm size stones in my tank instead of fine gavel.
Which resulted in always debris and poop between them which couldn't always get sucked up when vacuuming.
last Saturday I removed all the stones during my 75% WC ending up with a bare bottom which is way much cleaner, healthier for the fish an easier to clean.

I think I'll be adding a huge sponge filter for now but I'm stuck with how to cover it so the tank can look nice overall instead to see a huge sponge filter on one side orso.

Maybe someone can sex my bass for me while watching the video so I cam know if they are a pair or not.
