Your experience with LED color

Ebay sells this LED that comes with white, blue, pink and red/blue/green combination.

Another comes with plant pink LED which looks subtle and more natural than red. Not sure why it is called plant pink and wonder if it will promote algae growth in fish only tanks.

My fish are mostly blue, green and red. I am looking for a color combination that will bring out the best color of my fish and yet look natural and won't promote algae growth?

I use those units on 2 of my 29gal tanks, and even though it didn't specify the units as "plant" lights and is only white LED, it still grows algae quite well. Note, these 2 tanks are in a fairly dark room (basement) and are "on" for only about 6hrs a day. So, I would guess a LED that claims its for plants will promote algae even more so.

White and blue are common LED color. Any one has experience with pink, red and green?

I use the current USA LEDs. They are completely adjustable to whatever spectrum you like. Look them up they are awesome I got the ones that are actually a strip that you can install in your existing light strip. They were under $70 for a 46" strip
