I got given two 5ft x6ft x1/4inch glass pieces and I want to build the largest floor print stingray tank I can. I've never found a calculator for floorspan just side thickness but I got to assume there's a guideline for the bottom. Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome.

I was only thinking of making it around a foot to a foot and a half tall but I was debating on cutting it to 4 by 6 or something smaller. I do agree ideally thicker would be better but these were free so you know how that goes

I'd also keep into account whether the glass you have is tempered and if you plan on drilling it. None tempered glass is slightly softer and retains what flexibility it has.

My 6x2x2 has a 5/8" none tempered drilled bottom panel. The reason this is done it's 2014 manufactured tank is because drilling tempered thick glass has more probability for causing stress fractures you can't even see.
