I recently moved and cleared out my 75. It is setup and cycling. I'm thinking about going with an African tank. I've been keeping fish for about 15 years and have never kept anything other than CA/SA stuff.

I'm considering doing a Malawi tank but I don't really know what I should stock. Any suggestions? Are any catfish compatible in this setup?

So many fish to choose from in setting up an African tank. Choose a lake. Best to make a list of what you like and then get comments on stocking compatibility. As far as catfish go, synodontis multipunctatus and synodontis petricola will work. You can also mix clown loaches with africans.

Agree with Joe, I have S petricola in one of my African tanks, they are active, attractive, and docile.

have kept them with everything from Lepidiolamprologus, to Lake Barumbi mbo cichlids

After doing some looking around I might go with a Tang tank. Fish are more expensive than Malawi but they sure look cool.

Any suggestions for a Tang tank?
