I have 1000gallons worth of tanks running in my autobody shop and recently setup a cascade draw type drip filter that was working great!!
However, recently had a ammonia spike in tank system and when I opened filter draws I found tons of larve/fry like insects from either mosquitoes or fruit flies in mostly Cotten that I used to top off draws and filter pads. I've replaced them twice already because they keep coming back to nest there.
I was thinking of hanging "hot shot no pest strips" around tanks to kill off fling insects but does anyone know if will harm fish??
I'll post a link to item if anyone has used before with safe positive results?
