Thoughts on fluval fx6

I run FX's on tanks 180-265g. 2 on the 265. Singles on the 180's get some help from smaller cans or AC110's. 220 is not a good Jardini tank though. Fish can get longer than the tank is wide.

Id run two fx6. If running just one I'd add some HOB, Sponge, or a smaller canister filter. Sponge filters aren't great mechanical filtrated but for real cheap you can increase your beneficial bacteria

+1 I use an fx6 and ac110 works great. Fx6 is a great filter but an s.o.b to clean. If money isnt a concern (for me it was) I would get the eheim 2262

1 for every 180g is more realistic when we are talking about cichlids and monster fish setups... might be ok for a 400g neon tank!-)
