This is my tank before and after. I like the new setup looks more natural and the fish seem to like it more because the sump flow blows through the front of the tank and the like to swim through the branches ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1419790739.262613.jpg

I'm sort of confused too, so the first pic with the wood is the newest one?
Looks like you have a nice selection of fish there lots of different colors, good job!

"Ps. Acei feeds on algae that grow on wood. Therefore it will be around places where tree branches hang in the water or have fallen into it" So there mus be branches of driftwood in lake Malawi. People mostly don`t put in wood because it can make the water softer and more acidic, which isn`t really too much of a problem if you live in a hardwater area, or have limestone type rocks or crushed coral sand in your aquarium. I`m not saying everyone should run out and put driftwood with their Mbuna, I`m just saying that its something that the fish may encounter in the wild.
