Ok so I recently bought a white knight from a local breeder. I was under the impression this was what a iceburg Ali was, but I'm pretty sure I was wrong. I asked the breeder and she said it was, but I think she was trying to make the sale...whatever. So for my question. Is a white knight a hybrid or is it a species found in lake Malawi?

The answer is completely hearsay. There is no definitive answer if they are naturally occurring or a hybrid. If I had to guess they have been selectivity line bred for many years and are not naturally occurring. Even if they were natural the fry would stick out like a sore thumb in the lake and wouldn't survive long enough to be collected. One thing the seller has wrong is they're not ahli, they're fryeri. Any pics?
