Just curious what the approximate size of a Captive Bred Lap might obtain? Mine I got a 10" about 2 years or so ago and, has maybe put on 1".
Thanks

I think it's an interesting questions with a couple different answers. I hear that the CB nigerian laps currently are from a fresher blood strain than in previous years. So I think for the CB laps from previous laps I'd say 15"-18" but don't rule out anything bigger or smaller. As far as the more recent CB laps I think we need to give them some more time to be sure.

I've had mine for a month (I know that's not very long) but he hasn't gained anything except for mass. But I'm glad to see he is very thick now.

Everything staying at a constant, all cb laps have different max size potential. I've had dozens of cb nigerian laps, with all sorts of growth rates. My largest cb nigerian lap is pushing almost 20"s while my smallest is about 13"s. All about the same age.

That's very interesting. I wonder why.
