Hello all,

I am a new member and a first time poster.
I am seeking advice on setting up a new tank in which to breed Peacock Bass.

Tank is 72"(L) x 24"(W) x 30"(H).

What water temp and pH is best?
What is the best substrate for breeding?
Feeding...etc, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to MFK! Great topic. There's a lot of information on MFK, so start with the Cichla forum and start reading away. You can search the site as well.

Have you raised Cichla before?

I have kept various Cichlids before and had some bigger native predators.
I even had a few of my Cichlids breed, but now I have a more substantial tank, and time to step it up.
I have always wanted Peacock Bass, but haven't had the tank capasity
