Kind of an odd question but is it possible at all to keep the Spotted Ratfish (Hydrolagus colliei) in the home aquarium? I have heard it thrives in larger public aquariums even breeding in captivity, it doesn't get that big and unlike other Chimaeras can live in pretty shallow water. Wondering if they are suitable for the home aquarium and if there is any availability in the Northern USA or Canada?
