Thanks! All kidding aside, overstocking is a no no with Goldfish - they produce so much waste.

The two little guys i have in the 60, with some luck and care, will be baseball plus sized poop and pee machines.

TBH first time for me to see these gold fishes in 60G tank and it's not in 1 gallon bowl.....

My smallest is a 45 gallon, and that will be upgraded to a 65. You can't keep two goldfish together in anything less than a 65 - in my opinion. For one goldfish, you could use a 39 gallon, maybe a 30 gallon, but thats as small as i'd go.

I like to keep at least 25-30 gallons per goldfish. And with the larger body goldfish like Ranchu or comets or shubunkin, i like to see 55-65 gallons per fish at least.
