I am wanting to do a DIY LED lighting setup for a 125g tank. It just needs more light in general since I switched to black substrate 6-7 weeks ago. Has anyone ever used something like this: Underbed storage tote.
It would measure about 33"long and 14" wide with about 2-3" height or so.. I was looking at using this and painting it a flat black. This seemed more logical/economical if I'm trying to get light from front to back and length of tank.
if that makes sense and would work, how many strips of led's up and down it would be ideal? I was planning to go with blue and the brighter white of the whites(not one of the yellow whites)
