My friend is moving and getting rid of his pyjama catsharks and puffader catsharks. I am thinking of taking them but I am worried I will regret going cold water. Anyone every make the switch? pros and cons?

From everything I've heard coolwater sharks actually seem to be healthier and easier to keep than the tropical species are. At least that seems to be the opinion of some aquarists like Chris Avila - who actually breeds cool water sharks.

I appreciate the advices. How is the selection of coldwater fish? I rarely see coldwater fish in stores.

If you are still thinking of going cold, I will have 4 Lesser Spotted Catsharks (Sculiorhinus canicula) coming in later this month from Europe ;) Let me know if you are looking for any other coldwater stuff :)
