Some years ago I posted actual flow rate, measured with a stop watch and a bucket. Both, freshly cleaned and also after months of operation in a heavily stocked high bioload tank.
Sorry I'm on my phone with limited search function, but just log in from a computer and search for my name and 2262.

Visual water movement with depend on the spray bar, which many of us modified to fit our tanks.

Just comparing water agitation how would ut stand up against the fx6 not comparing overall filtration just flow ? Still gonna make the switch just want to figure out if I need to add something like a sponge filter to help agitate the water.

Curremtly have an ac110 and the fx6 on this tank

I am using the modular Eheim spray bars and extended them to the entire depth of my tank. I think I also drilled the holes to a larger diameter to reduce the flow current at each nozzle for my plants.
Both modifications also reduce resistance and, thus, might help the overall flow rate. Slightly. Maybe very slightly.
