Im just about sick of canister filter plumbing. Stuff moves around and is a pain. I've got a 40b planted with 2 sunsun 302b filters.

My tank is from the early 90s and im looking to just replace it. So this would be a good opportunity to drill a tank. Ive got a 1-3/8" hole saw, I was thinking of drilling 4 holes for 3/4" bulkheads... 2 drains lower in the tank with strainers, and 2 higher in the tank for returns. Plumbing will be easy, if I ever change or buy a new filter it'll be an easy change under the stand.

My question is: will the pressure of the bulkheads be too high and cause leaks? Is the pressure great compared to the conventional over the tank "u" shaped drain on most canisters?
