Hi I recently introduced 2 rtgs into my tank, they have started fighting and one of them has its barbels bitten off. does it affect the aro from feeding? the other aro is feeding normally, but the one without the barbels is not eating at all.

any advice would be great!

Could just be stress. What are you feeding them? Also, how long has the fish been refusing food? Specifics help. If they are still fighting, you should separate them. Some arowanas can't live together because of their temperament. I don't keep aros myself, just passing along knowledge. Good luck.

I find that live food is a good way to break a fast.

It's definatly stress usually rule of thumb is three or more aros in a tank to keep the aggression off of each other so it's not just on one especially Asian aros for they are more aggressive with each other I suggest u section of a tank with a egg crate mesh and let him heal if he is not eating he's stressed give him time to adjust eat again and the introduce each other and repeat until the get use too each other or get a couple more aros
