I'm growing out a flowerhorn and festae x carpintis in my 20 long right now. Once they out grow the tank I'm looking for a single fish that will be fine in there for life. I could always move it to a bigger tank if need be but I'd rather keep it in here for good. I want something fun to interact with and watch. I kind of want a predatory fish but it doesn't have to be one. Something that's also readily available. I am open to all suggestions.Thank you

A Macrognathus species (spiny eels; e.g. M. siamensis, M. circumcinctus, M. aral, etc.), or a small puffer would definitely be both interesting and interactive. There are several species of both that could live in your tank for life.
