Which do you think is better, one big filter or a few smaller filters, I have always gone for a few smaller ones so its easier to do maintance on. Just like to hear other people opinions.

I like to have at least two filters on a tank, both loaded with bio media, so that if one fails, the tank doesn't crash.

Same here running 3x filters that capable handle the bio load bigger than my tank for easy maintenance, it's never go wrong with more filters than don't have enough or fear of product failing.

Ditto on the big ones.
I have two 2262 on my 220 gal. Plus a small 2217 as surface extractor.
