I am currently setting up a 220 for a temp home for some baby TSN, curious as to what heaters everyone is using?
Seems any of the inline heaters are smaller at 300w. I have two canister filters along with 2 HOB AC 100s. Would like to run inline heaters but all I have looked at are the hydors foor the 5/8" tubing. Any reccomendations?

Just buy whatever quality heater you like and put it in a PVC pipe with lots of holes or slots cut in it. Be sure to put good waterflow pointed directly at it.

All this putting hears in pvc pipe with holes drilled in I have never understood

You can buy heater guards off the shelf or online for less than $10 and they give better water movement and also look 100x better than a pvc pipe
You can also buy a universal type that fits any heater

Good options, i do like the jager heaters. I have them on my 125 and 130, my oscars don't seem to mess with them but have heard the stories with the catfish.

For a 220, I would recommend multiple lower wattage heaters over a single high wattage.
