Quick summary before you waste tons of time researching
1. Once eating and settled most readily available rays are hardy and very easy to care for
2 massive filtration needed
3 very large tank "200 plus gallons even for smaller rays"please don't beat me up on this some would say larger
4 they eat a lot
All adds up to one hell of a financial and time consuming fish to keep if still interested study stickys and any info you can find and regular motoro are cheap and very hardy but will grow way beyond what I call beginner status good luck
