This is my female and she has been getting bit on her disc. Now would these be "typical" breeding biting areas or just my male biting on her for aggression? Don't mind the cloudy water I just fed squid and the water clouds from it and then clears up in a bit.

I have not seen him latch on or try to flip her. They are basically touching constantly.

Also how long should I let her get beat on like this until I separate them so she can heal?

I though she was prego before and I thought my male got her back in April but nothing came of it.

You can tell aggressive behavior by knowing your fish. Breeding behavior is when a male follows the female and strategically patterns his bites.
Aggressive behavior is when he pushes her away and bites very hard in single bites.
