Well I'm attempting to build my first acrylic tank. 480 gallons. I just bonded the front panel to the bottom and there are serious bubbles. Like really bad .
I think I've found the problem. My floor is actually quite wavy but now I've shimmed underneath the tank so the sides are touching much better.
What can I do to repair the front panel? all of my acrylic is 1/2". Can I run a 1/2" rod in the front joint to reinforce it? Or do I have to cut it apart? I really hope I don't but any insight would be greatly appreciated. I haven't added any more panels at this point. I have weld on 16 on hand and I'm using weld on 4 to bone the panels
