Hey guys,
I got a beananimal overflow box on a 210g. If I let it run without any covers, it runs smoothly and doesn't make any noise.
However, fish can get caught in it. So I use a gutter guard around it, but plant leaves clogged it so quick and then there's so much noise with water dropping into the overflow box.
It's a glass overflow and it's in use so I can't take it out.
My plan was to maybe make a acrylic overflow and cover up the glass overflow, but INSIDE the actual glass overflow box.
I would just make a tight measurement and place the acrylic against the inside of the glass overflow, will it stay without any silicone or glue?
I would make the front acrylic piece higher than the glass ones with holes similar to this:
This would prevent fish from getting in and let the plant leaves fall into it.
Any other ideas would help.
