Dovii male(10") with soft shell turtle(8")

NO way are you insane man have you seen how aggressive doviis can be I can gaurantee you they wont get along even if its not now doviis can get up to 25-28 inches for males they are unpredictable and are extremely powerful and aggressive its going to be up to the dovii if he wants the turtle to live. Its a hit or miss for you but you are risking both of their lives so I would say NO.

I actually have a Dovii in my 750 tank. Had him for about 3 years. A big boy who nobody bothers in the tank. However, I once added in a Florida soft shell to my tank and I kid you not I went to the store for 15 minutes to get the turtle food, came back and the turtle was dead. Not sure who killed him, but it proved the pet store owner wrong who was sure the soft shell would kill my fish stock.

Ya I agree but its a hit or miss wouldnt take the chance.
