Hi all and thanks for taking me in to your forum.
I will begin by saying that I found this forum via google using the words 'glass window in fish pond".
The reason is the obvious but I am just starting to build a Koi Pond and while I'm in the early stages of construction and at a standstill at the moment I thought I'd take time to further my research.
Ok!
Our pond will be 5M x 1.4M x .8M deep (5600 Litres or 1250 gallons for those still using imperial measurements).
The filter will be approx half that size in capacity with separate chambers.
The system will be gravity fed and the plan is to return the water via a return pipe and a waterfall.
We would like to put a glass front in the pond approx 1.5m x 0.6M given the pond is fully above ground.
Any advice is most welcomed.
The pics attached are from the basic outline of the filter to where I am up to. The second pic shows the filter foundation constructed and the remainder of the brickwork is the beginning of the pond.
I will update as I do the work.
