I must of left my remote in my pocket and it went in the washer. It was soaked. It's not working now, so is it done for good? If so how can I fix it or change settings?

My phone went out after a flood. I put it in a bag of uncooked rice and it came back after three days. The rice sucks out the moisture, take apart the remote as much as you can and throw it in the bag.

Pretty sure it's done for good.

I dropped mine in the tank by accident, tried the rice trick and nothing. Had to go and buy a new set.

I dropped my remote for my truck in the tank and I did to try the rice thing. It works as long as you don't press any buttons while it's wet otherwise it'll fry up. I left mine in a tub of rice for 2 weeks and then opened it up and let it sit. Replace new battery and voila it works.

Thanks for the replies. I have it in the rice and have a new battery. I'll try this and get a new remote if it doesn't work. Luckily the light was on so I can plug in or unplug to use for now. Just stuck w/ one setting. I love these lights, but having only a remote to use is my only complaint.
