I noticed my aro swimming in his side today. When I bought him he was in terrible shape (torn tail, missing scales, missing an eye and part of his gill plates was gone). I have been putting salt in for treatment and he's been eating fine. What could the problem be?

Here.
I would change the water asap... I see there are quite a bit on accumulation of bubbles on the front of the tank. I can be mistaken if you have a air pump running but still it shouldn't amass like that. Usually indicating poor water quality.

30% water change every day. That was from a.) a medication I was using for him or b.) the filter because I have the water level down some so the filters creates bubbles.

Discontinue the salt, see if that helps. Do a 50% water change.

How is he/she doing?
He's still kicking. Gave him an Epsom salt bath and he's still swimming in his side. Hasn't eaten in two days, I've tried bloodworms, freeze dried krill, frozen krill, cut tilapia, live mealworms and carnisticks. He doesn't want anything to do with any of it. I'll try and get live crickets tomorrow for him.
