Haven't done it myself but I've seen it before. From what I've seen over the years it seems to be a sometimes it works, sometimes not so much deal. Depends on the particular tank, how many of which type, age, temperament of the individual fish, etc.
thanks Neutrino....just got 7 2" Bleekeri and am getting some 3-4" mpimbwe in about 2 weeks from yesterday and just need to put them together for a month or two.....we will see how it goes as I am resealing a 150 tank, but am real busy right now
I find (at least in my tanks) Paratilapia are aggressive with each other, but tend to give other species a pass.
Alpha males can be a bit over active though, especially compared to mellow cichlids like frontosa.
Here's a little video of my small spot group in a 6 ft tank, 1 male and 3 females, with some other cichlids. He eventually killed all females except 1.

It could work short term at a small size. Long term I see at best the paratilapia stressing the frontosa. But if your intent is only a month and they have enough space, then it might be ok.
I have kept this combination several times if similarly sized you should not have an issue. I have kept both small spots and Andapa with my fronts .. no issues... but as said before keep an eye on them as sometimes you can get an aggressive paratalapia .
