If bacteria adjusts itself constantly to be able to handle your aquariums' bioload how much media is enough media ?
for example , If my aquarium is able to reduce ammonia from 4PPM-0PPM in about 12 Hours , is it safe to say that the amountof media inside both of my FX 6's is enough ?
Obviously nothing can occupy the same space at once so here's a question. . Which bacteria is the more dominant , Nitrosomonas or Nitrobacter ?
is it better to go Overkill on the media so both bacterias' have the sufficient space required to complete it's required function ?
