I posted these guys years agoe..my rescued female and her male.

The little female is doing great and her male has turned out to have an amazing tail!

They are just over 5 inches.

Agreed that cons are so overlooked these days in the hobby. Yeah theyre easy to breed and whatever, but its hard to argue that a full grown pair of cons isnt a fantastic sight. I love these fish, and that male looks awesome congrats! Here's a pic of a male i raised as a fry and set up in my schools 55 gal back in high school! Hes still around too lol

They are jn a 35g with a group of danios to keep the fry in check. Its hard to get good pics of them.

Yes they do, we might have two or three if any make it out of a batch.

It is allot of fun to watch, one danio dived in to newly free swimming fry, the pairents attack it and chase it away and the other 6 danios dive in and eat as many as possible untill one of the cons notice and chasr them off.
