I bought this little guy today for $20 after I traded in a couple fish. I know he's a lap but does anyone have any idea which variant? I was hoping a koliba just because I already have a Nigerian in my 150. Hopefully this guy will grow quickly so he can join the big guys in the 150. Right now he's just hanging out with my two sens and my pbass.

Nice pick up, arnt kolibas typically darker with a bit of greens, I might be thinking of different lap varient

See that's why I'm confused. His color hasn't set in yet but from what I've looked at on Google it seems they're all this color when small. I saw one for sale labeled as a koliba and they looked very similar. My Nigerian has some heavy green with brownish orange lines. I'm just not sure how to tell them apart really.

Yea this one was $80. It helps to know the workers really well. Your collection is really nice btw. I'm hoping mine will get up there at some point.
