A small cheap sand pool filter and a pond/sump pump would cost you less than an fx6 or 2262 and be far superior IMO

Thats confirmed then!
(got mine on half price intro special, but still, it cost as much as the build for the pair! Well the filters were slightly more!)

I got my sand filter from the local pool supply store but you can get them cheaper off amazon. You can get a pump anywhere, most of the small sand filters come with a pump but they consume a lot more electricity. I would get a pond pump with at least the same gph if not more bc its not going to pump the rated gph against the head and sand.
