Help me remember this fish name

I went to the fish store the other day and saw this fish that was about 2" long and looked similar to that of a snakehead: black and cream colored. I called the store and they didn't remember the name and didn't want to drive the 40 minutes there in case it was gone.
Anyways, I think the name started with a j like juvi or jud something. It's freshwater, tropical. And last time I looked one of these up, I think the max size was in the 2-3" range.
If anyone can help me figure this out, that would be awesome. It's been bugging me for quite a while.

Julidochromis is the name of the fish. My description might not have been very accurate. But I finally remembered its name! Thanks for the help. Definitely gonna look into that sweet looking betta!

edit - my bad you found it, Julies are awesome fish but they can be pretty territorial. they hover in place like mini submarines btw

Julidochromis are pretty cool. J. Regani can get up to 12" in the wild. Most other varieties are a good bit smaller.
