A 75 gallon for a youngster would be ideal. They are big, active frogs. Then a larger tank for an adult or several adults.
About 1/3 land, 2/3 water. They spend most of their time in the shallows or basking on a rock at the edge of water. They eat a lot - and will eat anything that moves. Including smaller frogs.

No one is getting a 75 for a bullfrog. Realistically a 40 breeder I would say is minimum. They are active and large and cannibalistic so I would not keep them with anything I wouldnt want eaten. Mine ate dead snakes i would find and freeze, bumble bees, frozen mice, etc...

That's like saying nobody will buy a 3,000 gallon pond for their RTC.
A 40 gallon is way too small for even a mid-size bullfrog.

This thread reminds me of the bullfrogs at the market.I was tempted to save one to put in my pond in the Spring.

They seem to have a barrel full of them every time I stop by there so it's just a matter of me setting up an appropriate temporary quarters before I go and save one of them.

I gig for them in the summers in Arizona. They aren't native and are everywhere in the river systems. There's no limit to how many you can keep, state wants them gone as they're wiping out the other amphibians. I kept one alive in an empty 110g I had. It made tons of noise jumping around banging the glass. After a few weeks it started croaking. Then it ended up in the fryer like the others. They're voracious eaters and can jump the length of most tanks. Not ideal for indoor enclosures.
