Hello people. Thanks to you guys I am now obsessed with getting into plants. Problem is, I have a 500 gallon with a big Arowana, bunch of clown loaches, 7 Discus, clown knife, Gar and little idea of plants. What can I put in this tank that this guys won't uproot easily? I know it will be a challenge with the type of fish i have but I'm up for it.

I would recommend Anubias and Java Ferns as they aren't very demanding. They can be tied down to driftwood and/or rocks. Depending on how powerful your lights are Amazon Swords and Cryptocoryne would also be an easy plant. Sagittaria and Vallisneria can also be easily used as well. I think plants would work fine with that stock.

What's your lighting situation? What kind of lighting are you using and how long do you leave the lights on?

Onion plants are pretty undemanding. They'll grow over 8' tall so if you plant them by a return they'll float on the surface completely across the tank.
