My whole house filters for my auto-drip system over the course of a day or two ends up draining, the drip continues np, but i have to hit the pressure release button to get the housings to fill back up. It goes from my copper line to appliance line to a ball valve then through the filters, if i place the valve after the filters the same thing happens. I am concerned that the slow drip is bypassing the actual carbon filter, allowing chlorine into my system. I simply don't get how it can continue to drip at 2 gph into my tank, but the filters are being filled with air, is there air coming through the line when the initial valve at the copper line is open too little? I can't figure out how to have it run regular without once a day releasing the pressure, and essentially back siphoning water from the line after the filter back into it. Any ideas? Wonder if i need a pressure regulated before and open the valve at the copper line wide open, pressure is too high to do that now.
