One LFS I know once had a guy trade in 2 black diamond piranhas (all piranhas are banned in California) and they were labled as Pacus.....When I tried to tell the owner he just denied that they were piranhas and offered to sell them both to me for 80 bucks.....I'd rather not risk jail time for fish, even if I've wanted to keep them. What about you?

Me, I`m tempted to find a snakehead just because they are illegal. I hate being told I can`t have something because somebody else might be irresponsible with it!

Yup was in 2 lfs this weekend and seen jags and freshwater rays for sale. Both are illegal here

I had someone nearby who sold motoro and leopoldi rays (illegal in CA)................just when I thought about buying some he got the fish confiscated by the police.

Rays, piranha, snake heads, gars, Asian aros and FRT. I've seen all those over the years and I'm sure even more. Strangely enough I haven't seen any of these in the last two or three years.
