I bought this FH 7-8 months ago from MFK member.

Now here he is in my tank, and not sure type of breed.

Also, what filtration system are you guys running for 1 FH?

I see people having:

Sponge filter + powerhead
Sponge filter + HOB
Sponge filter + canister

I do 25% water change every other day on a 55 gallon
and wanted to know whats the easiest and cheapest route.

Thanks.

Looks like Red dragon ZZ.

I use one SunSun 304B(rated for up to 150 gallons) canister filter for my one FH in a 60 Gallon along with a wave maker/powerhead blowing the water. That's all I have in my tank.

I used to have two Aquaclear 70 HOB and they were making rattling sound as well as the waterfall sound. Now there is none of that with the canister.

Will the SunSun rated for 75 gallon work? Currently using 2 of them on my 180 gallon.

Your fish looks like it's fading. Sponge filters are awesome.
I'd kinda figure I may need a better filtration system....but could it be the purple light and blue background?

The previous owner had white light on it in the first picture.
