Hey all, I am thinking of setting up a 75g brackish aquarium. I would like something a bit different from my 120 south american geo set up to look at and I have never really had a larger brackish aquarium. Originally I wanted to go with African Cichlids but I kept them until fairly recently so I decided to go with something new.

I have kept Mono kottelatai, and GSP in Brackish water before, Besides that I have been full marine and pretty much every kind of cichlid.
I am trying to find out locally if anyone can order in Orange or green chromides as I'd like to try and keep them, if not then its not too much of an issue.
Personally I feel that I`ll either go with medium to smaller sized peaceful fish (and hopefully hermit crabs) and make kind of a brackishcommunity reef type set up, or I guess the other option is to go for the bigger fish or specialist species only aquaria. I`m not interested in mudskippers.
Can I hear some ideas ? Salinity and Stocking.

Thanks in advance

knight gobies are one of my favorites (got me into BW fish). If I were stocking a 75g I'd go with a trio of knight gobies, a Butis butis, a trio of orange chromides, a "freshwater" flounder, a school of glassfish and a figure 8 puffer. Blue-leg hermits can do well in higher range brackish, I never tried under 1.016 but I think they can go down to 1.012
