I impulsively added the last of my grow outs to the community tank tonight. I'm starting to have second thoughts. What do you guys think? .

That's a beast next to it. I'd be worried about its well being. That said it looks nice, from a non poly guy.

The other two grow outs have been fine. They're the same size. I added them last week. I'm really not sure how I'll catch this guy. I'm going to observe for a few hours. The congicus is mild mannered. I'm more worried about my bv endli. It's already showing signs of mild aggression. Territorial, mostly. My stomach feels sick about it though.

99% of the time your gut is correct. I wouldn't chance it.

Over there
From my experience large bichirs aren't as cannibalistic as babies but the keyword is "as" if they're hungry enough they still will. If it were me though I'd move it

They're all well fed. I put more talapia than usual in tonight knowing the congicus would indulge. I guess I'll remove him as soon as I can though. He's moved over into the heavily planted section of the tank now. The delhezi stays on that side and only comes out for air. I spot feed him so he doesn't have to venture into the feeding frenzy. Bleh. I hate that he isn't ready, but maybe he isn't.
