I see a lot of Marble Goby all the time at one of my local lfs. The fish seems interesting. Does anyone here have or like them? How big do they get and what is their diet?

They always appear dead motionless at the bottom though.

I haven't yet kept them but would like to someday. They don't move around much, but I'm ok with that. They have a look I like, from all reports I've read are easy to care for, and are readily available at a low price.

I keep mine in my stingray pup tank, he's around 6". He's pretty active especially during feeding time comes right up to the glass before I drop any food in. Foot print of the tank is 60"x36"x20" so he has alot of room

I keep one also. Mine's 7" and pretty much docile and lazy till feeding time. It'll swim right to the top and wait for food. Very cool looking fish. I believe they can reach 24". As far as for food, mine only accepts frozen silversides. It's one of my favorite fish.

Great fish, I have had mine for a couple years. Picked up at 1.5" and is now pushing 14" but his girth is unreal. Is anabsolute hog at feeding time, no aggression to tankmates with the exception of my big Jade goby. He bullies the Jade at times.
Here is a pic but really does not do him justice
