Ok so like the title says my sevrums did finally breed, question is now what? I have a bunch of swimmers in my tank now just wondering what I should be doing if anything. What and when do I start feeding? Also my filters are one emperor 400 and one whisper 40, the whisper is only being used with socks full of peat for water softening. Are to fry in danger of getting sucked up? Any info would be helpful, thanks.

I have never raised severum fry,but many other cichlids.if they are free-swimming(not wigglers on the bottom) then you can use first bites or other new born food, crush flakes too.you will probably want to cover the intakes with foam or netting. in 2 or 3 weeks take half out to grow separately,if you plan to raise some

The babies are only a few days old and they're all missing, could the parents have eaten them? There are only three small Cory cats and an Asian algae eater in there with them.

If they were not swimming, but wigglers on the bottom, then the catfish could have eaten them.but if parents are new to parenting or feel threat from tankmates then they will eat them
