Hey guys, took on a quick project. I have good filtration for the tank but I love allways doing something with my tank. I would like to help ease W/C's with additional plants. As its an African tank that's a no go. So I got a planter, put some holes in it (aside from the big 1 inch one it had) and it fits like a glove ! Im going to drop some black large stones in the planter... My only question is what is a LOW light plants that is SAFE for fish and HELPs with the water quality ? I may have to find a black planter but this tan one is the only ones they had in atm... So please give me some plant love !

Yea the planter is tan, it will be black in a few hours. I actually just hooked up my power head. Its over 800 GPH I know that, it used to be in my 125 Salt tank.

Yea the planter is fully submerged but im looking to have the leaves and branches out of water t make the dead air space above my tank a little more appealing to the eye.

i enjoy the idea of exploring the space above the waterline, the problem is in my opinion, the land to air transfer would have to be natural, like takshi amanos personal tank. i.e. driftwood extending beyond the surface.
