My last clown loach got caught. It was the smallest of the trio. I tried to remove it but there was no way.

5.5" or so. Maybe slightly bigger.

Yeah. I left the delhezi and cb endli in the tank though. I don't think he's interested in other Polys. The Del eats right in front of him all the time. The sp Faranah is the only one who griefs the del, but only when it ventures into her cave. Otherwise she doesn't care.

a shame to lose some nice clown loaches like that. i always worried this would happen when i housed my endli with my 4" loaches but they seemed to be best of buddies always bunched up in a cave together.

That's nuts, my delhezi is 8.5" in with 1.5"-2" CL's....never a problem. sorry for the loss

I know the feeling my school of 11 diminished to a lone survivor almost over night when my weeksii and black Volta got to enjoy the taste of Clown Loaches.

suppose i dodged a bullet by moving my endli then based on the luck you guys have had mixing bichirs and loaches. of course i lost all my clowns a month or so later due to an ich outbreak
