I got a motoro pup last week and doesn't move around much when the light is on. Doesn't eat when the light is on? I turn the black light on and he moves all around and eats well..?? Is there a trick to training them with the lights? My Rays of the past didn't do this.

Was it raised in a well lit tank?
I'd say if you only got it last week it's still early days and acclimatising. If it eats well with the lights off then I'd keep lights off.

My small Motoro female doesn't move much in the light either. My Mantilla love the light though.
