white alligator gar?

was at my lfs earlier and saw a couple white gar in a tank, probably about 3 inches in length. the guy said they were alligator gar, iv never seen any in person so I was just wondering are they normally white?

Looks like a spotted/florida gar that is washed out from stress or in a tank with light colored deco. If it was a platinum it would cost 2000.00 + dollars

makes sense, the guy said they came in a couple hours ago, they were all white in the store and the one is still white in my tank. thnx

Yeah looks like a Florida one but the color faded prob due to temp and stress, this can also happen if the gravel is white. I thought u we're talking about a platinum gar those fish go for big bucks, sweet aro too I'm sure there gonna be best buds
